In my previous article, Free Unique Content From MyBlog Guest, I mentioned how you could use the MyBlogGuest network to get free good quality content for your website. Obviously that content has to come from somewhere – and thats where the other side of MyBlogGuest comes in.
For $20 per month, you can get a pro account on MyBlogGuest. This gives you various benefits over a free account, the biggest being that you can publish your articles in the Gallery for others to publish.
Each article needs to be unique, and good enough quality to attract the good quality sites, so if you are looking for another place to submit spun articles – this isn’t it! This is what I class as “high quality link building”. You spend a little bit of time writing a good piece of writing, its then published on a high quality and relevent site. You can then use this as a buffer page to create a high quality, high page rank, relevent link.
Its easy to submit your articles to the Gallery. Just paste your title, article, tags and author bio in, then upload any images that you have and you are done. The article will appear in the gallery immediately, however moderators do check through the articles, so if your article doesn’t meet their criteria it will be hidden until you sort the problem out. Once the article is live in the gallery you will start to receive offers. Depending on the niche of the article, from my experience, this will vary from 2-5 offers per day.
An example of the offers received on a technology article I submitted within 2 days are:
- Offer 1: PR5, General Blog, 200k Alexa Rank
- Offer2: PR3, Tech Blog, 33,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 3:PR3, Tech Blog, 122,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 4:PR3, Tech Blog, 872,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 5:PR3, Tech Blog, 2,845,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 6:PR3, Tech Blog, 3,344,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 7:PR2, Tech Blog, 954,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 8:PR2, General Blog, 245,000 Alexa Rank
- Offer 9:PR1, Tech Blog, 2,154,000 Alexa Rank
Obviously thats not the order I received them in, its sorted by PR, relevence and then Alexa Rank. I accepted offer 2, which means my article is currently on a PR3, relevent site with an Alexa rank of 33,000 – it’s still linked to off the homepage at the minute! Not only is it a really good link, but its passing relevent traffic direct from that article to my site.
From the 11 articles I have published so far, the sites the articles have been published on are:
- Article 1: PR5, General Blog, 113,000 Alexa rank
- Article 2: PR3, Niche Blog, 290,000 Alexa rank
- Article 3: PR2, Niche Blog, 1,524,000 Alexa rank
- Article 4: PR3, General Blog, 80,000 Alexa rank
- Article 5: PR3, Niche Blog, 33,000 Alexa rank – this is the one mentioned above
- Article 6: PR3, Niche Blog, 2,209,000 Alexa rank
- Article 7: PR2, Niche Blog, 4,170,000 Alexa rank
- Article 8: PR4, Niche Blog, 428,000 Alexa rank
- Article 9: PR5, General Blog, 113,000 Alexa rank – Same site as article 1
- Article 10: PR3 General Blog, 78,000 Alexa rank
- Article 11: PR1 Niche Blog, 953,000 Alexa rank
As you can see, there are quite a few high Alexa ranking sites on there which should bring in a fair bit of traffic. The general blogs are all high quality sites, with all the articles published in relevent categories. These are real sites, that people subscribe to and read – not the typical splogs from networks like Linkamotion.
Most of the sites do not advertise the fact that they do guest posts, and 2 of the 11 sites I have published on actually charge you to post guest posts on there if you contact them directly (the first wanted $50 per post, the second wanted $100 per post) – but they will take your articles from MyBlogGuest for FREE!
If you are looking to add some quality link building into you link building efforts, I cant recommend MyBlogGuest enough! One of my sites was sitting at number 5 for a fairly competitive term, after publishing one of the articles (Article 2 in the list above), the site jumped to number 3, a couple of days later it went to number 2, then finally number 1. It sat at number 1 for 3 days before dropping back to number 2 where it has been for over a week now. No other linkbuilding has been done on that site during that time! I built some links into the article using Article Marketing Robot and SocialAdr during this time which may have helped though.

One thing that you will soon realise if you are serious about any sort of online marketing, whether that be affiliate marketing, AdSense or marketing your own eCommerce site, is that you need written content…and lots of it!
