STEP 1 – Create Author Account
As the title suggests,this is the info that will be used to create the author accounts on each of the article sites. Would be good to have the ability to spin the content, also to automatically generate a fake address like you can using Sick Submitter. The next screen is for your mail settings. Give it your POP3 details (or select from the drop down for a standard account), email address, password and tell it if you want it to delete the emails or not.

You can have as many different author accounts as you want. I would recommend one author account per site or group of sites (if you have 10 sites all in the same niche you could possible use the same author account).

STEP 2 – Create Article

This section lists all the existing articles for each author account and also allows you to add new articles. You can add folders into this section to make it easier for you to sort your articles. For example if you have a website selling clothes, you could make a folder for articles around jeans, a folder for articles about T-shirts etc so that you can easily find your articles (once you get 200+ articles in Article Marketing Robot, all under the same author account it becomes hard to find what you are looking for).

When you go to add a new article you will notice another of Article Marketing Robots tricks, it has an spinner built into it! You can either paste in a pre-spun article from something such as The Best Spinner or you can paste an unspun article into Article Marketing Robot and then use the built in spinner to spin the article. The spinner is not as good as The Best Spinner, but its better than most free programs. When you add an article you will need to enter a title, summary, body, resource box, keywords for your article and finally the categories that you want the article to be published in. This works on a partial match so if you put “Shop” in this list it would put you in “Shops”, “Shopping”, “Online Shops” etc – whichever one comes first.

There are a few areas this could be improved on. Firstly, it would be good to have TheBestSpinner work with Article Marketing Robot for those that want it (leave the current spinner for those that do not have The Best Spinner). The other thing that I think is a fairly important feature would be negative keywords for the categories. Lets say you have a shopping site, you put the word “shop” into your categories list, the first category it finds in a lot of directories with “shop” in is “Adult Shops” – which we dont want out articles to appear under.

STEP 3 – Select Targets

From this screen you can see a list of all the directories you can submit your article to. You are given the site ID, URL, Page Rank, Type, Status, Submitted and Quick Result. They are all pretty self explantory, but “Type” is the type of software the site uses, “Status” is whether you have signed up to the site or not, “Submitted” is if you have submitted the selected article to that site and “Quick Result” is a brief summary such as “Signed Up”, “Category Mismatch” or “404 error” etc.

From this section you can do various refinements such as only selecting certain types of sites, sites above a certain Page Rank, sites with status of “OK”, “Email” or “None” and finally sites with a submitted status of “Yes”, “No” or “Fail”. This is quite handy as you can select all the sites you have a status of “OK” with and submit your articles. You can then select all the sites you have a status of “OK” and a submitted status of “fail” for and see why the articles failed. You can also select all articles with a status of “none” and tell Article Marketing Robot to go and sign up to all of these sites for your current author account.

The next feature is one of the most important features in Article Marketing Robot. When you select to submit your article, you are given the option of submitting to all sites now, or scheduling the articles to be submitted at a rate you select. Anything from 1-100 articles to be submitted every 1-168 hours (7 days). You can adjust the schedule once you have created it just by going to the “Scheduler” menu.

Captcha solving in both registration and submission can be done either manually or by using Decpatcher or DeathByCaptcha.

Once you have submitted your articles, you obviously want a list of URLs where your links can be found. Article Marketing Robot takes care of this using the “Live Links” feature which can use one of many methods. You can tell Article Marketing Robot to either pull the URLs of all the articles within the current author account or just the one you have selected. Then you need to tell it how to find the links, either login to every account individually and check for the links or just check your author page to see if the article is on there. Finally you can select how the report is output, either as HTML, plain text, CSV or a custom RSS file. These are then ready for you to start building backlinks to to ensure your articles get indexed.

There really isnt much Article Marketing Robot could improve on in this section – it works really well, its quick and it does what it is supposed to.
